Sid had a great time in Taggarts wood today with volunteers from AWT (Avon Wildlife Trust) and BUCG (Bristol University Conservation Group). Some of the AWT guys were out there on Wednesday too working their way through the hazel and churning out products with their billhooks.
The BUCG were a joy to have out there, a group of students who get together every other Sunday and head out to a nature reserve to help out in any way they can. A very well organised and enthusiastic bunch, though at the time of writing probably less organised as I believe they head straight to the pub after each event. Great work folks, thankyou!
